The track-laying work of the Shanghai-Nanjing High-speed Railway along the Yangtze River was completed on May 20 when the last batch of 500-meter-long rails were laid on tracks at the construction site of Taicang Station. With a total length of 279 kilometers, the high-speed railway runs from Nanjing South Railway Station to Taicang Station, connecting cities such as Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Changzhou, Wuxi and Suzhou.
